An assistant that knows your way around
gradIQual includes a built-in assistant that helps you get things done inside the app. Ask it to start a marking run, check on a job, summarise a class, or just explain how something works — and it helps you there and then, without hunting through menus. This is the assistant inside gradIQual, available once you're signed in — not the chat box on this website.
Help with the actual work
The assistant can do real things in the app: kick off marking, check the status of a job, pull together a class summary, and walk you through delivery. Anything that changes your work — marking, editing, sending — asks you to confirm first.

Private by design
The assistant minimises personal data: student names are reduced to a "First L." format and emails are stripped from what it works with, and identifiers like phone numbers and postcodes are scrubbed from what you type. Its conversation log keeps only redacted content and clears automatically after 30 days.
Clear, readable responses
Where it helps, the assistant shows information as tidy cards and summaries rather than walls of text — class lists, feedback summaries, grade distributions — so the answer is easy to read at a glance.
